For your info, I manage my own server (WHM/Cpanel) and I install my Multisite on my own server.
The client i have only want a cheap solution for ssl. So i thought of doing this.
1) Take wildcard SSL to secure my multisite (abc.com) and also my subdomain (my client wp). So mine is secured. Is secure my website and my free client who uses my subdomain.
2) For my premium client, I map to their own custom domain. Then i need to use this product
to secure 3 domain at first and then add additional domain for roughly $14 per domain for any additional client i have.
This works right?
My client based at the moment would be below 50. So this solution is still considered cost effective right?
I found out something. see attachment.
For example, if i click on Update Now on the yellow highlighted link
"There is a new version of Akismet Anti-Spam available. View version 3.3.1 details or update now."
then i will get "Update Failed: -1"
but if i click on Update now on the other update link, i can update my plugin. It will direct me to a update plugin page and it can update.
So now I am wondering, what cause the yellow highlighted link update to cause error. not all plugin i can do something like this. mostly will show update now on yellow highlighted link. therefore i still cannot update most of my plugin.
Same issues after putting in the code in the htaccess
this is what i got from hummingbird plugin after enabling the gzip compression
