Chiming in here because I found on another thread located here https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/robotstxt-doesnt-show-up-after-wp-defender that the code you referenced above is not actually correct.
Shouldn't it read this way? With an 's' on the end of robot??
Allow from all
I am having a similar issue. It seems this should be a TOP priority to fix on Defender since many of us rely on the robots.txt to be read correctly by the search engines.
I have reactivated the plugin. When I use the filter to find the files associated with Monarch plugin there are three that are all set to INCLUDE. When I choose to EXCLUDE all the social media icons disappear from the site.
So I set all that back to INCLUDE and next tried changing all three of them to not minify the files and now I see the social media plugin is working properly. But will this have a negative effect on page speed now??
Hi Sajid- Yes, I have enabled minification, browser cache and compression through the Hummingbird plugin and still getting these scores.
I have granted access through the support panel inside the site. Please take a look at what I can do to increase the scores.
Also, how do I set up notification for the 'Uptime' feature? Can I get it to email me when the site is down?
