Nithin commented on Weird issue with CPT showing in breadcrumbsMar 26, 2017
Hi Huzaifah, Hope you are doing good today. :-) Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, we follow a queue when it comes to replying to a thread, it's been a busy week than normal, and hence we couldn't get back to at the earliest. Regarding this issue, it seems like it's a custom theme? Thanks for sharing the code, the code does look identical, so this might be related to your theme, or maybe a conflict. However, when I try to go to your website via the custom slug of these CPTs, the slug for publications doesn't work, but the events page works,ie: http://bib.vergedesign.co.uk/news-events/bib-events/ The above link works, however the following doesn't: http://bib.vergedesign.co.uk/research/publications Please advise if I'm missing anything related to the 404 link for publications CPT. Is breadcrumb part of the theme, or is it a plugin? If it's a plugin, you could switch to a default WordPress theme, to check whether it works fine? You might find the following article helpful in troubleshooting, this further: http://dreamdare.org/tips-tricks/how-to-fix-wordpress-custom-post-type-permalink-404-error/ To have a better idea about how it's configured, I tried to access your website through the support access, but unfortunately I'm getting the following message: [attachment=1236457,112341] Could you please re-enable support access, so that we could give a closer look, and have a better idea regarding this. You can grant access from WPMU DEV > Support > Support Access > Grant Access, or check this manual: http://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/wpmu-dev-dashboard-enabling-staff-login/ Please let us know once you enable access, so that we could get this sorted. Have a nice weekend. :-) Kind Regards, Nithin
Nithin commented on Snapshot Pro- Getting error messageMar 26, 2017
Hi Hamid, As the error stated is a Fatal error, I'm afraid there isn't any other option to make that work. Please check with your host, and see whether they could at least increase the max_execution_time to 180. Only your host could provide you with a solution regarding this, as it's an issue specific to your server. Should the file be in the root or the wp-admin folder?? Depending upon each host, the path where php.ini resides would differ, most common path where the file is added is in the root folder, but in some hosting provider it would be /wp-admin. Please do let us know how that goes with your host, have a nice day. :-) Best Regards, Nithin
Nithin commented on Contact Form on Popup reopening popup on submissionMar 26, 2017
Hi Claudia, Hope you are doing good today. :-) Do you know why this is happening and is there a way to prevent this? I tested your exact condition in my system, and I could see the issue. I'm afraid this seems to be a bug, I'm pinging the developer regarding this, to check whether we could have any quick workaround when it comes to making this work. At the moment, the form will still get submitted even when it isn't validated. Will keep you posted once I get an update regarding this from the developer asap. Have a nice day. :-) Best Regards, Nithin

HI @[email protected], Is there a way to add to Jobs & Experts plugin a map to help localize the closest service offers, like car mecanic, plumber, house cleaner, etc...? I'm afraid, the answer is No. There isn't any such out of the box settings. If you are considering custom coding, you can check the Jobs & Pros section, in order to hire a professional. Please do note that the members found in the Jobs & Pros are individuals, and doesn't have any affiliate with WPMU DEV. Kind Regards, Nithin

Hi Lisa, Hope you are doing good toady. :-) By default there isn't any bootstrap file in CoursePress plugin, it seems like you are using a customized theme? I checked your websites source code, I could see bootstrap being included from the following path in your CoursePress theme: xxxxxx.com/wp-content/plugins/coursepress/2.0/themes/coursepress/custom/stylesheets/bootstrap.css" There isn't any folder called /custom by default in CoursePress theme. Hence you were noticing such issues. I'm not able to replicate such an issue in my system with the CoursePress theme, you can also check whether it works fine when you switch to a default WordPress theme? To be sure, you can check the file structure of the folders inside the plugin, by downloading the plugin via the plugin homepage: https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/coursepress-pro/ I hope this clears your query, since you have already figured this out, please do advise if I had missed out anything, have nice day. :-) Best Regards, Nithin
Nithin commented on Bandwidth usage of wpml pluginsMar 26, 2017
Hi @[email protected], By the term "they use much bandwidth", did you meant that website speed is slow because of all these plugins? Bandwidth, and Page Speed are both different terms, but correlated. You might find the following article helpful: http://jpstm.blogspot.in/2011/08/difference-between-speed-vs.html If you meant that the website is loading slow by installing these plugins, then this entirely depends upon one server to another, it's hardware, and also factors like what other plugins are installed in your website, and whether there is any such correlation. Easiest solution would be increase the memory limit, if you server permits, you might find the following article helpful in improving these: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/increase-memory-limit/ You could use a plugin like Hummingbird, if it's about optimizing your website. You might find the following article helpful in having a better understanding about these: https://codex.wordpress.org/High_Traffic_Tips_For_WordPress https://wpengine.com/blog/plugins-and-fast-wordpress-sites-its-not-the-number-of-plugins-its-the-quality/ http://www.webhostingsecretrevealed.net/blog/web-hosting-guides/how-much-bandwidth-does-your-site-really-need/ I hope this helps. Please let us know if you still need any further assistance. Have a nice day. :-) Best Regards, Nithin
Nithin commented on Features and chargesMar 26, 2017
Hi @[email protected], Hope you are doing good today. :-) At the moment there isn't any integration between these plugins. However these 3 plugins can work independently when activated in your system, but I'm not sure whether I follow your exact needs on how you are planning to implement these plugins together, so I'm a bit lost here. You might find the following workaround helpful, if you are looking to make Appointments+, and Events+ together: https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/events-appointments-integration Please do explain further If I'm missing anything so that we could see whether any possible workarounds are available, or not. :-) Best Regards, Nithin
Nithin commented on Charging users + featuresMar 26, 2017
Hi @[email protected], Hope you are doing good today. :-) Can I charge people for searching for a professional or for offering services using Jobs & Experts plugin? The purpose of Jobs & Experts plugin is connect Job Owners with the experts. The plugin only comes with the option to create Jobs, and interested experts can get in touch with the owner of the job via the plugin. At the moment, I'm afraid, there isn't any option to charge people in any way, or to make any payments, it would require custom coding to achieve such a similar setup. As a workaround, you could try using Membership 2 Pro plugin along with Jobs & Pros, and restrict the pages to only members who have a paid membership, ie you can protect/hide the pages using Membership plugin, under Membership 2 > Protection Rules. It won't fit your needs fully, but you could give a try, and see how that works. However, please do note that there isn't any integration between Membership 2 Pro, and Jobs & Pros, so it may not be an ideal solution, if you have more requirements. You might find the following plugins from the WP repository helpful if you are looking for more options: https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/job-board Can it be used for asking for or for offering simple services, as a house keeping, a mecanic, a builder a plumber, a bread maker, etc...? It can be used as such, but all features will be limited as mentioned above. I hope this helps, please let us know if you still need any further assistance. Have a nice day. :-) Best Regards, Nithin

Nithin commented on Hummingbird and CSS hugggge problemsMar 26, 2017
Hi Cathy, Hope you are doing good today. :-) Hummingbird plugin doesn't increase, or decrease page rank in Google search result. What the plugin does is optimize your website, and improve your websites Page Speed, ie your website will load faster after configuring Hummingbird. However Google does have an algorithm to prioritize websites in their search results which loads faster, there maybe some correlation, but it won't remove the website form the search results. In general the plugin won't affect your websites Google Page Rank in any way. You'll have to use a SEO plugin to improve your SEO scores. I could notice you have Yoast SEO, and SmartCrawl plugin installed, and activated at the same time. Using two plugins at the same time will cause conflicts, and it isn't necessary, both the plugin does the same tasks. Maybe that's what the issue is here? Would recommend you to disable one of the plugin, and resubmit your sitemap, it should help fix the issue. However, it'll take time for the Search Engines to re crawl your website, and to get indexed in Google.
