Custom Content Dashboard Widget is a plugin that allows you to instantly capture your site user’s attention when they log in to the network. You can create the content in minutes, and it will appear on dashboards for all users across your entire network!

 

It’s very simple, all you need to do is add the title of your widget and it’s content to this download, and you’re done.

Usage

To Get Started:

Start by reading Installing Plugins section in our comprehensive WordPress and WordPress Multisite Manual if you are new to WordPress.

Note: If you have an older version of the plugin installed in /mu-plugins/ please delete it.

To Use:

Once activated, the Custom Content dashboard widget will be available in your dashboard. There are several ways you can customize the content, as follows:

On the Custom Content widget itself, click Configure in order to display the settings and enter your content there.

Edit the contents of custom-content-dashboard-widget.php where it reads custom content goes here.

Note: For the Custom Dashboard Widget to display your content, you must input the content in the network admin section –> Settings –> Dashboard widget
