This plugin automatically checks the ‘Remember Me’ checkbox on the login page.

Your login page now looks like this!

So, for example, if you are using Who Sees Ads and you want to make double sure that users are logged in and don’t see what visiting users might – this is for you!

We use it on Edublogs to reduce people losing their password. However, please note that this may lead to users remaining logged in on public computers… so use with care.

If you want to remove the WordPress logo from your login page and replace it with your own logo…like we’ve done it on Edublogs login page — check out the Rebranding WordPress MU plugin!

 To install:

  1. Download the plugin file
  2. Unzip the file into a folder on your hard drive
  3. Upload the /remember-me-checked/ folder to /wp-content/plugins/ folder on your site
  4. Visit Network Admin -> Plugins ( Plugins in single WP) and (Network) Activate it there.

Note: If you have an older version of the plugin installed in /mu-plugins/ please delete it.

That’s it! No configuration necessary!

Pesto! Your login page now automatically has ‘Remember Me’ checked!
